Reaver is the brand-new Maxxis tire designed for Gravel competitions. The low-profile tread design uses diamond-shaped knurling to reduce rolling resistance and improve grip in dusty or slippery conditions. The groups of three spatula knobs provide extra grip during sudden braking. The side knobs are spaced apart and staggered to ensure continuity in corners. There is a groove between the side knobs to allow them to flex and conform to the terrain, improving traction. Reaver is ideal for riders as it is faster, lighter, and even more durable than Rambler. In mixed conditions, Rambler is more versatile, but if off-road speed is the top priority, Reaver is the best choice.
