“This is a local band that blows us all away,” Rachel Dangermond, Director of the 100 Men Hall said. “We are always excited to host these musicians at the Hall. 

The coast's top musicians come together under The Chuck Lofton Band. The band originally grew from a group of musicians who were members of The Dock of the Bay Music Company. They were assembled by David "Snake" Hooker to play for one of his legendary birthday parties. The Chuck Lofton Band harness the musical talent of some of the Gulf Coast's best - Tommy Moran on guitar, Regan Taylor on keyboards, Corey Johnson on bass, Chuck Lofton on vocals, Gene Moran on drums, and Lee Seal on percussion.

The historical 100 Men Hall, a famed stop on the Chitlin' Circuit, a Must See Venue by Rolling Stone Magazine, winner of the 2024 MS Governor’s Award for Excellence for Arts in the Community, a rare site on the MS Blues Trail, is maintained and preserved under a 501c3 nonprofit organization (Hundred Members Debating Benevolent Association, est. 1894). The Hall is supported by its membership organization 100 WOMEN DBA, as well as from the generosity of sponsors and donors. The 100 Men Hall is the only endowed African American landmark in Mississippi.
