Incredibly regal and resplendent, this green handspun Ponduru Cotton Jamdani saree inspired by a Patan Patola design enchants in an unusual shade of Parrot Green. Woven in coastal Andhra town in Srikakulam district, the weave took more than 14 months to emerge. The beautiful play of colors on the saree is eye-catching, with a contrast red plain temple border. The pallu of this artistic weave is complemented with a fabulous gold zari kaddi, acquired by the artisans from their age-old traditions of spinning and weaving.
