A charming, deep blue 1.76 carat sapphire is flanked by two trillion-cut diamonds amounting to a total weight of 0.42 carats. The oval-cut sapphire is claw set leading to tapered shoulders that flatter the three-stone design. It is unusual to find trillion-cut diamonds making this sapphire engagement ring stand out from others. Tested 18ct yellow and white gold, circa 1990.
