These handsome "Mountain Brand" skis are hardwood Hickory with classic 1920s pointed tips. They have complete cable beartrap bindings. Some of the nicest skis we've seen this season. Notice the tapered wood "ridgetop" above and below the binding plate. Mountain decal is still visible, but clearly these skis were lovingly schussed.
One point about the "Ridgetop" that is interesting. This was an upgrade from the previous versions of a flat ski - to help with the chatter or vibration from skiing at high speeds. Vintage vibration dampening technology.
