(from two parcels of vines totaling .37 ha, with ages of 10+ and 40+ years). Here there is enough reduction to mask the nuances of the underlying fruit so I would suggest giving this some air first. Much like the Pucelles there is a suave and succulent mouthfeel to the medium weight flavors that are more tightly wound on the sappy, tension-filled and strikingly persistent finale. This is unusually well-detailed and while it’s not exactly chiseled, it is certainly nicely delineated.
