A vintage aquamarine and diamond ring. Set to centre a rectangular step-cut aquamarine in an open back claw-setting with an approximate weight of 12.74 carats, flanked either side by two baguette-cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The 18ct yellow gold band has been worked to curve at the shoulders in a very 1960s fashion, its design cleverly working itself into the claws to secure the stone. This impressive cocktail ring tests as 18ct yellow gold and platinum, circa 1960.
