The sofa comprises two distinct components that unite to form a sculptural seating solution. A backrest with an elliptical section that around the seat and lowers at either end to form armrests. The simple seat is suspended above the ground, adding to the sofa’s sense of dynamism and lightness.

Ghidini1961 works with leading international designers to create innovative contemporary furniture that it describes as “liveable art”. Each product is informed by decades of craft experience, as well as the vision of creative director Stefano Giovannoni. The family-run company designs and develops its pieces at its headquarters in Brescia, Italy.
