Essence of Atropa Belladonna, also known as Deadly Nightshade, is one of the oldest known potion ingredients, dating back to Roman times. In small amounts it produces a very deep sleep, in large amounts it's quite deadly. Belladonna translates to beautiful lady, and was used by many a fearless woman to dilute their pupils and dispatch their enemies. It's the poison used in Practical Magic, along with many other spooky stories!

-Gorgeous vintage style hexagon shaped glass bottle is affixed with a bronze filigree metal plate. A smaller filigree plate wraps over the cork.

-It’s filled with a very deep burgundy potion that turns to a swirling dark blue with purple low lights when shaken and settles back to burgundy after about 30 minutes. 

-Neck wrapped with aged red twine and black faceted glass beads.

-Hand-designed and aged label is printed on recycled paper and sealed with water-resistant sealant for durability.

-Aged cork is sealed with waterproof glue and finished with metallic blue/purple faux wax.

-4 3/4" tall, it's a beautiful stand-alone piece, or the highlight in any potion bottle collection.

I create life size, realistically magical potions that look like they live in the wizarding world or a wizened old alchemists workshop. They’re intended to look old and worn, while still pretty. I hand age the labels, so they are faded and stained. Some are more stained and older looking than others, your collection will look authentic.
