At 2000 lumens, the Bright As Day 2000 is the most powerful of the Moonlight compact headlamps. It is provides enough light for moderate to high paced activities like cross country skiing, mountain and gravel biking, dog mushing, and ski touring. All Moonlight lamps come with an extension cable allowing you to store the battery in a pocket or running vest ensuring an even lighter weight on the head, giving less strain on your neck and shoulder. In colder temperatures it is recommended that you store the battery close to your body to preserve its temperature and capacity.

The battery is latest generation lithium-ion cell (21700), giving an increase in capacity of over 25% compared with similar headlamps using 18650-type cells.
