Celebrate aviation history with Cape Air Cessna 402 PlaneTags from N1361G. This iconic commuter aircraft served the Northeast and Caribbean for decades, logging over 34,500 flight hours, and now you can own a piece of its story. Perfect for collectors, aviation enthusiasts, and fans of regional air travel, these PlaneTags are crafted from authentic aircraft material and make a unique addition to any collection.
N1361G was built as a Cessna 402C Utiliner and delivered in 1980 to Aero Coach. In April 1996, it joined Hyannis Air Service, operating under Cape Air, where it became a reliable workhorse for decades. Though it was a non-deice aircraft, N1361G flew primarily during the summer months across the Northeast and to destinations in the Caribbean during the winter, logging an impressive 34,576.5 flight hours.
After retiring in 2019 and being used for parts in 2020, MotoArt acquired N1361G in 2025. Our team traveled to Hyannis, Massachusetts, to collect authentic aircraft material, preserving the legacy of this versatile commuter plane and turning it into collectible PlaneTags for enthusiasts worldwide.
“N1361G was a true workhorse and an important part of Cape Air’s history. We’re excited to give aviation fans the chance to own a piece of this iconic aircraft.” – Dave Hall, MotoArt

*Important Notice – Please Read Carefully
PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because PlaneTags are made from real fuselage, each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you will not have an option to select the color of your PlaneTag. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTag.
