The elegant Cartagenas lounge chair by German designer Sebastian Herkner is an ode to Cartagena, the lively coastal metropolis on Colombia's Caribbean coast.

This piece is made by craftspeople in Bogota using an intricate weaving technique where two different colours of recycled PVC string are handwoven around a steel frame to create a neat contrast. It takes three days to complete each chair.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, Cartagenas can be used to create colourful seating arrangements on a terrace or in the living room as well as add personality to dining areas of restaurants or hotels.
