Burnside is what's known as a "tea-spooned" malt. Essentially a single cask, single malt distilled at Balvenie distillery, with a teaspoon of single malt from GlenFiddich distillery added in so it can no longer be named Balvenie. Please note, this mixing of two different malts means that this cask is technically a blended malt. Regardless, Burnside is incredibly rare and highly sought after amongst indie bottlers and in-the-know collectors alike.

At DamGoodDrams, we’re big fans of Burnside! In 2024 we bottled an Amarone red wine finished Burnside 12, under Glaschu Spirits Co, and it was a huge hit.

This cask of 2011 Burnside is sitting at WhiskyBroker bonded warehouse. WhiskyBroker allow private accounts and we can easily transfer Delivery Order ownership should you wish to do so.
