It’s funny how when we see something amazing happen to someone, we often say, “Wow, you’re so lucky.” Though we don’t usually take into account what has happened to them previously, before this “lucky” moment, that may have prepared them for this open opportunity. Whether someone is “lucky” or not really depends on our perception of what’s happening for someone. 

When we prepare ourselves for any outcome, and then an opportunity presents itself for our preparation to take action, we consider ourselves lucky. When, in reality, we really just had equipped ourselves with the right tools to take advantage of the moment presented before us.

This all goes to say that it’s important to prepare yourself for anything – mentally, emotionally, and physically. You never know which route life will take you on, but you can make your own luck by being ready for just the right moment to occur.
