A Belle Époque cluster ring. Set to centre a rectangular step-cut 4.37 carat amethyst in an open back claw setting that is encircled by twenty two round-cut diamonds in open back settings with a combined weight of 0.44 carats. The cluster of diamonds lead to the scalloped gallery that is intricately pierced, and complimented by an understated platinum band. Circa 1900.
