1. Place coarse ground coffee beans in the pot. Add a rounded tablespoon of coffee for every 1.25 dl (125 ml) of water.
2. Boil the water and let it cool to a temperature of 92-96°C (198-204°F) – the optimal brewing temperature for coffee.
3. Pour the water over the coffee grounds and let the coffee steep for four minutes.
4. After four minutes, press the plunger down and let it sit for about a minute for a fuller, richer flavor.
