It is chai made luminous, milk stirred with spice, fruit bright against the storm. It was born under the rainy skies of the Pacific Northwest where I grew up, in the stillness of grey afternoons and the comfort of Somali shaah, our spiced chai tea brewed dark with black tea, cardamom, and sweetened with vanilla. Rainmilk opens with peach skin, a fleeting brightness against the rain. The heart is black tea, orris, and toasted tonka, steeped thick and spiced. It settles into vanilla cream, amber, and sandalwood, a glow both magnetic and uncanny. This is chai remembered differently, vanilla made strange, comfort unraveled and rebuilt in rain. A spiced milk perfume with a twist of fruit, Rainmilk is ritual transformed into something unforgettable.
