The works of the Suzuki Morihisa Workshop are characterized by delicate expressions and sophistication. Despite being made of iron, they exhibit a moist and soft iron texture. The iron kettle features a simple design with vertical stripe patterns applied to the body using a spatula, making it easy to harmonize with any tableware. This creates a very user-friendly shape for the kettle. Moreover, the vertical patterns of lines, such as stripes or ribbed patterns, were considered symbols of "Iki" during the Edo period. "Iki" emerged during the Edo period and reflected a preference for ever-changing simple beauty in accordance with the times. This aesthetic inclination originated from the everyday lives of common people. It is a timeless piece that can be used every day.
