50-year-old Italian family business Mingardo works with contemporary designers to produce metal furniture and products that are defined by elegant lines and exceptional detailing.

The Decò lamp by Milan-based designer Federica Biasi perfectly encapsulates the company's aesthetic. Made of opaline blown glass, the pendant throws out a soft light through its two globe diffusers that sit neatly within a polished copper frame. Biasi created the small asymmetrical design as tribute to Italian mid-century designer Gino Sarfatti, who was celebrated as a 'master of light'.
