The area around Usuki City is known for its beautiful lotus flowers.

Unlike many other Usukiyaki wares, this piece is shaped on a potter's wheel and then trimmed by craftsmen. The petal-shaped rim casts shadows on the table and creates a beautiful expression.

It can also be used as a small bowl for serving small side dishes, yogurt, fruits, desserts, etc.

RYOUKA Series
This series was inspired by dignified flowers such as lotus, cherry blossoms, and Kousa dogwood that bloom in the fields and mountains of Usuki in Oita, which is rich in nature.
