This Type 1 lightened flywheel is great replacement and improved performance on stock or moderately modified Type 1 engines. Since there is less reciprocating weight, it will allow the engine to rev faster, increasing speed and acceleration. Flywheel weighs approximately 11.5 to 12 pounds and is ready to mate to your 8 dowel or 4 dowel crank. This cast flywheel is recommended up to 5500 RPM’s and/or about 100 HP. For anything greater we suggest our chromoly forged flywheel. Note:  This is the 200mm 12V flywheel.  It will only work in conjunction with a 12V starter, as the teeth are different on the 6V starters.
