Informed by his background in biochemistry, Abid skillfully crafts simplified and fluid forms, resulting in distinctive shapes and designs.

Each handcrafted sculpture embodies biological narratives through the interplay of shape and materiality, created using diverse clays and employing pinch, coiling, and slab techniques.

All ceramic pieces are handmade by Abid Javed in his studio in Hackney, London. Each work is crafted with precision and individuality, resulting in organic forms that are inherently unique and imperfect. No two pieces are exactly alike, and natural variations in form, colour, and finish should be expected.
