An older Taxco Mexican handcrafted sterling silver round brooch or pendant. This large vintage brooch has an Aztec sun design featuring cut out patterns. This Mexican pendant/brooch is composed of two sterling plates put together to reveal a black oxidized finish on the bottom one. The design is called a shadow box. The back has and an older spinning C-Clasp and a fixed bail, so it can also be used as a pendant. It is has a circle hallmark STERLING 925 TAXCO FCM. Eagle 3 Stamp and 3.
