A non-matched set of 10th Mountain Division Trail Snowshoes. These are marked and made by two of four companies that were producing snowshoes for the war (Abercrombie & Fitch in VT and Snowcraft of Maine). They are also stamped with the date (1943) and serial numbers. It was common to see "Pairs" with mismatched seriel numbers as troops would pile the snowshoes - and then re-sort during training. These snowshoes are in very good condition and would look great in any mountain design or mountain modern display!
