SRAM X-Sync 2 chainrings are known for superior chain retention, reliable shifting performance, quiet operation, low friction, effective mud removal, and long life. Introducing a steel version that is more wallet-friendly. The X-Sync 2 steel direct mount chainring offers the same performance as the aluminum version at a lower price. Although there is a weight penalty, this steel version is more durable than its aluminum counterpart. Fits SRAM direct mount mountain cranksets and is compatible with Eagle 12-speed mountain drivetrains and previous SRAM 11-speed mountain drivetrains. This option has a 3mm offset for boost chainline (12x148mm rear spacing).
