A Charming Vintage Mido with a Beautiful Silver Dial and Gold Dial Furniture, Very Well Preserved and Running Well After a Recent Service, c.1940s

Founded in Switzerland by Georges Schaeren in 1918, Mido is today based in the town of Le Locle, in the heart of the Swiss Jura mountains. The name Mido comes from the Spanish «Yo mido», meaning «I measure». Since its inception, Mido's philosophy has combined innovation, aesthetics and functionality.

What’s On Offer 

This is a charming vintage dress watch from Mido. The dial is in beautiful blemish-free condition with gold furniture including alternate Arabic numerals and very slim leaf hands. The Mido signature at 12 o'clock is underwritten by Multifort Extra and Super Automatic is smiling at 6 o'clock. The dial is encapsulated underneath acrylic crystal and encased in stainless steel which is also in nice shape considering its age, with very few marks of wear.

The caseback is marked anti-magnetic, shock-protected, restless steel and waterproof (we do not guarantee the watch is waterproof due to its age). This watch is in very nice condition, it has clearly been well looked after and is also running well and keeping good time thanks to a recent service from our watchmaker. A Very nice addition to any collection and beautiful on the wrist.
