Vintage 40s Brown day Dress w/Belt Nubby Texture Kabro of Houston

This is a true vintage late 1940s dress in a brown, nubby-textured rayon or gabardine blend. It features a modest, fitted bodice and an adjustable, matching self-fabric belt with belt loops. It has fitted, half length sleeves and a full, box-pleated skirt that falls to a midi length. The silhouette is consistent with the post-war "New Look" style, emphasizing a cinched waist and structured skirt. Note the small, rounded collar and the little cutout patterns at the collarbones! Unlined. Closes with a side zipper and buttons at the nape.
