The Sawyer Dress is a relaxed midi shirtdress designed to be worn oversized, loose and free.

The main of the dress is composed of a red and navy stripe on an ivory ground. Subtle interest is added by the addition of an unexpected panel in navy and brown stripe at the side front of the skirt. The dress features a classic collar, a chesterfield closure on the front, a dropped shoulder line making a visually short sleeve that falls to the wrist with cuffs, and a gathered skirt section with pockets within each side seam. The Sawyer Dress is made from a mid-weight 50% Cotton and 50% Linen striped Cotton Oxford weave fabric that is a surplus stock and is made in Japan.

The Sawyer Dress is designed, pattern made, sampled, and hand cut in our Haberfield studio in Sydney. It is then sewn and finished in Sydney Australia by our local maker with great care and expertise in limited numbers.
