Traditionally home to textile mills, shipbuilding, and paper making, Aberdeen is a port city in northeast Scotland. Our dress shirt is grounded in a time when the development of the shipbuilding and fishing industries led to the construction of the present harbor including Victoria Dock and the South Breakwater. Embodying the serene calm of water ebbing and flowing, the Aberdeen will sweep you away on a voyage to work or to play.

Fabric

Renowned as some of the best in the world, Egyptian cotton is a particular variety that is grown in only a few other places. It features an extra long staple, which means it has longer fibers, resulting in a silkier, more durable fabric.

End-on-end fabrics are essentially poplins but with one colored and one white (or other color) thread. This gives the fabric a heathered appearance up close but looks like a solid color from a distance. End-on-ends are sometimes called fil-a-fil from the French for "thread-to-thread" or Chambray.
