Created to mark Sir Grayson Perry’s 65th birthday, this print draws inspiration from Delusions of Grandeur, his exhibition at the Wallace Collection. The design centres on Shirley Smith – Perry’s imagined outsider-artist character – whose quirky fascination with the museum shapes the artwork. Playful sketches of Hertford House and charming cats, another of Shirley’s passions, bring a whimsical and eccentric spirit to Liberty’s 150th anniversary collection.
