The wrap adheres best to clean, dry surfaces. Wipe down your manifold or pipes with a cloth to remove loose dirt and oil residue before starting. No special coating or primer needed — the wrap grips the metal directly.

Will this wrap stay put once installed, or do I need additional fasteners?

The included zip ties are your primary anchor points. Space them every 4–6 inches along the wrap as you work. The titanium material clings to itself when overlapped, but the zip ties prevent unwrapping from vibration or engine bay airflow.

Can I wrap stainless or ceramic-coated headers with this?

Yes. The wrap works on any exhaust surface — stainless, mild steel, ceramic, or factory cast iron. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry before you start layering the wrap. The reflective coating remains effective regardless of what's underneath.
