Adorable late 60s or early 70s zip front, novelty print maxi dress by Janet Lynn. The fabric is 100% cotton with a Pennsylvania Dutch reminiscent bandana print, in red, black and white. Fitted bodice is sleeveless with a round slit front neckline and a front 29" long zipper. There are three rows of white rickrack trimming the neck and arm holes. Self belt at waist with thin belt loops at the side seams. I tied it in back with a bow, but could be tied as you like. Skirt is gathered on at highish waist and has a 7. 5" ruffle at the hem. Waistline is not quite empire, it sits about 4" below the bustline. Dress ends at mid calf or ankle, depending on your height, see measurements. Also there is a 4" seam allowance on the inside right before the ruffle and the seam could be easily let down, if need be. Pocket in side seam on one side. Would look so cute on Valentines Day or wear it as a groovy 60s hostess gown or sun dress!
