This lovely black silk wrapper or tea gown circa late 1890s is beautiful and imperfect, due to her age she is best as a study or display piece. ⁣

Inner bodice of cotton with button closures. Hook and eye closures on the outer gown from waist to collar. Grosgrain ribbon tie at the waist.

* Several small holes throughout, from pinhead size to golf ball size

* Tearing/significant wear at the hem

* Missing some hook and eye closures on the bodice

Best for study or display. Would be wearable with extra care for a photoshoot.
